Holiday High/Low
December 30th, 2005 | All the rest
Editor's Note: I just cannot figure out how The Boy/Ethan should be referred to here. I am not so keen on either choice right now, so for the immediate future I shall call him simply "E".
The hands-down high point of Christmas: the first gift that E's grandmother opened was a bicycle horn for her walker. For the rest of the afternoon, she would honk the horn whenever she thought someone was taking too long to open a gift. It was fantastic.
The hands-down low point: coming home and finding cat vomit all over the (still pretty new) couches. Seems that someone short and furry was having trouble keeping down the kibble.
High: helping E's sister take out her braids. About two hundred of them. It was actually really fun.
Low: only a tiny bit of new snow, which didn't start until after dark.
Super-über especially good present: new RAM for my laptop! Yay, E! Best present!
Special mention for most confusing gift: camel-colored turtleneck with rhinestone skull and crossbones.

It make me wonder if B. even noticed the design when she bought it.
If you will excuse me, I have to get back to watching too much Law & Order. Gotta make the most of these vacation days!
